What equipment would you recommend for a voice and music studio? I will be scanning sheets of music, saving them on a computer, view and print them with that computer. I will also be recording music and voice talent and need appropriate microphones, and recording video. I also need a DVD burner and will be making about 20 copies of each DVD. I need a list of equipment that I'll need, including the make and models and preferably links to the equipment. I also need to know everything; monitors, printers, computer, dvd burner, everything. Partial answers are still ok, but help as much as you can please.

One of the biggest trends in recent audio production involves merging digital recording with computer technology. The recording of audio onto a computers? hard drive allows you to edit and manipulate your sound files.

But what if the sound going into the computer wasn't recorded using a good microphone?
